How safe are the floors for the children playgrounds?
To provide maximum safety, flooring for playgrounds are made of rubber that meets certain standards of thickness depending on the playground equipment in which they are installed. They are customized according to the height at which a child could fall (the thickness around the floor of a slide will be different from that around a small toy).
Flooring for playgrounds can be installed either in the form of precast concrete, rubber flooring or as a mixture of continuous cast polyurethane and rubber granules.
